Sampson

This is my eight month old lab named Sampson. We got him in June 2008 when he was eight weeks. I rarely call him Sampson. I call him Sammy. He's my little Sammy. He's so adorable. He can open doors that you have to push to open. He potty trained himself which is cute. When ever he has to go, he just barks and we let him out. He also barks if he's hungry, thirsty or bored. Its the shrillest scream too, but when the doorbell rings on t.v. or when some one's at the door, he has a very deep bark. Its really funny. I love him. I have never liked big dogs because they scared me. He's a gentle teddy bear. He loves human food, but his tummy doesn't. He gets many doggie treats, but is still as skinny as a rail. He likes to go between your legs when he's excited to see you. That's my favorite thing he does. He's so incredibly adorable!

Lacie

This is Lacie, my 2 year old Chihuahua. She is a princess. We spoil her like there's no tomorrow. She has clothes, she barely has to walk, and she gets lots of dog treats. That explains how she has such a big belly. She sleeps all the time. Her favorite places to sleep are on somebody's lap if they have a blanket on them, and in the front room, right by the big window. Its nice and warm there, I can see how she does this. We got lacie in August of 2006 at a pet store. We weren't planning on getting a dog, but she was just so cute and so tiny, so we gave in. We have had her since. She is definetly loved here. She gets lots of hugs, cuddles and kisses. She even has a sweater for the winter that we just bought her. She's adorable in it. She does what all dogs do, get into the garbage. We even have one with the lid, but she knows how to get it off. She loves to eat gum, that is her favorite thing to get into. She also loves meat. Don't be fooled though, she is one saucy chica. She always growls at people if they hold her a certain way, if she's laying in a warm comfy place, and if she's fighting with other dogs. Luckily, she doesn't bite that hard too often so I haven't had very many casualties with her. When I get out on my own, I'm getting a Chihuahua like her. She's awesome!!!!!!

Charlie

This is Charlie, he is Belle's son. He was born June 24th, 2008. His birth story is actually quite hilarious. When I met Belle, her belly was extremely huge, in fact, she looked dangerously overweight. I was willing to work her out because she was perfect. A week or so later, I get two urgent emails from the former owner saying "Major news!!! Call when you get this!" At first I thought she like died from being too fat, but I called him and I said what's going on? And he said "Well I went to go check on the horses this morning and instead of three horses on the property there were four. All I could see were his white feet, but he is here and he's perfectly healthy. Now you get two horses for the price of one." He and his wife were very reluctant to give him up, and I don't blame them. He is awesome. I have had several casualties with him though. One would be about three weeks ago when I was brushing him and his mom. I was spraying his mom with sheen and I dropped the brush out of my hand accidentally. I bent down and got it the same time he was sniffing it. I guess I scared him because he flipped his head up really quick and hit me right between the eyes. Then I remember seeing them and rolling under the fence so they wouldn't hurt me even more, and then I went unconscious. I suffered a minor concussion, but that's it thank heavens. But I didn't feel good for like a week after that. I still have the bump, but luckily I don't have my double black eyes anymore. The next would be about two weeks ago when I was out there petting them and he knew I was still afraid of him so he took advantage of that. I was cowaring, which is the worst thing to do, but he came up and bit me really hard on my left arm. Then I had this big ugly bruise that I still have a bit. It was horrible, but that's what you get for being afraid of a baby horse.

Belle

This picture is of my horse, Belleza Femenina, or Belle for short. Her registered name is Eraser's Tardy Girl, but what kinda name is that for a cute five year old horse like her? She is 15.1 hands high (about 60 inches tall). She's my Belle. I love her, she really is a belle. I first met Belle the second week of June 2008. She was about 40 miles away from where I was living at the time. It was a terribly long drive, but worth it. When we arrived at her owner's and went into the pasture where she lived. She became alert and looked at me for awhile. She then walked over to my mom, my dad, and me and she came right to me and put her face on my torso and rubbed it up and down. She then continued to cuddle with me the whole time. She stuck by me. It was an immediate connection. We are the best of friends now. She's my pretty mare. I love to spoil her, and she loves to be spoiled. Her favorite thing is when you scratch her front shoulder, her neck, and her cheeks. She also loves being brushed and of course, eating. She prefers hay over grass, which is good for now cause all the grass is dead for winter. She is an angel sent down to help me through hard times. She is as dosile as they come. I hope to start training her in like December or so for rodeo and playday season. I hope to win some prizes with that lol. She's a definet blessing in my life. Everyday I get to see her, I fall in love with her even more. She amazing.
